Pre-Pasted Wallpaper
Fill water tray with luke-warm water and roll the strip pattern side in. Immerse in water tray for the time recommended in the instructions supplied in each roll. Then take the top end of the roll and pull sheet out of water allowing it to unroll as it is drawn from the tray. Change the water after every six strips.
Stick-Ons, Stick-Ups, Appliques, Cut-Outs, Accents, Wall Accents, and Wall Stickers
We have several wall decor products on our website. Some are called appliqués, stick-ups, accents, etc. The standard description/installation for Stick-Ons and Stick-Ups is as follows: You can stick them on any flat, dry surface because they're made of self-adhesive polyester. Each is cut out around its own shape.
If there are any specifics to the product, for example: "not intended for walls", it will be stated in the product's description. Otherwise, please consider the above description for Stick-Ons and Stick-Ups.
Stick-Ons and Stick-Ups are very easy to install. They are self adhesive, therefore no wallpaper paste is required. They do not require preparation because they are self adhesive and pre-cut for you (ready to install). Simply, measure the area of wall for installation and place the product on the wall. For best results, please be sure the wall is clean prior to installing. The stick-ons will stay affixed to the wall until you decide to remove them.

Accents - Some accents are used for smooth surfaces only - plastic, glass, tile, bath tile, and ceramic. Accents are not intended for walls. Accents are small appliques that adhere to bathroom tile, ceramic decor items, plastic tissue box covers, mirrors, etc. The product's detail information will state that these accents are intended for smooth surfaces only.
Wall Accents are easy to install, simply cut around the edge, paste, and apply. Our digital wall accents are washable and vinyl coated for long lasting durability. These Digital Wall Accent products are installed as standard wallpaper and are intended for walls. They are typically not prepasted.
Un-Pasted Wallpaper
Use the type of paste recommended in the instructions that came with the wallcovering.
Brush or roll the back of the wallcovering with paste. Apply plenty to the edges. Fold the strip (or "book") pasted side to pasted side, that is bring in both edges toward the middle.
Be careful not to crease the paper. Strips should be booked to allow for sufficient absorption of moisture and for the wallcovering to become supple. Approximate time is 3-5 minutes. Once again, see individual instructions for exact booking time.

How Many Rolls Do I Need?
To use this table, first find your Ceiling Height on the top row. Then locate your approximate Room Size in the left column. At the intersection of the two, you will find the rolls required to cover 4 walls. Ceiling and Border rolls are in the right column for your room size.
Deduct two single rolls for every four ordinary size openings such as windows and doors. A small pattern, such as a mini-print requires less paper than a large pattern which requires a larger drop for pattern matching.

Wallpaper Care
Wallpaper care instructions depend upon the type of wallcovering. Always follow the directions included with your wallpaper.
- "Washable" wallpaper can be washed infrequently with warm water, soap, and a soft sponge.
- "Scrubbable" wallpaper can be washed frequently with warm water, soap, and a soft sponge.
- "Paintable" wallcovering, if painted, should be cleaned according to the paint manufacturer's instructions.
- Do not use abrasive cleansers or scrubbers, products containing bleach, or solvents of any kind.
- For best results, wash from the bottom of the strip up to avoid letting dirty water running down the face of the wallpaper.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean warm water.
- Dry with a soft lint-free cloth.
If mildew is present, existing wallpaper will have to be removed. Wash the bare walls with a detergent containing mildewcide or a mixture of ½ cup household bleach to one gallon of water. Wear goggles and protective gloves. CAUTION: Do not mix bleach or any other cleaning product with other cleaners or chemicals. Scrub with a medium brush until the mildew discoloration is gone. Thoroughly rinse the walls with a clean water after washing to be sure the chemicals have been removed. Before reapplying wallpaper, apply a stain-killing primer followed by a acrylic-based primer/sealer specially formulated for wallcoverings.
